Project Summary

The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed construction of High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes on Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) between Interstate 10 and State Route 51. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while this work was underway. There are no current projects on Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway).

On The Move Our Valley Freeway System is part of the 2004 voter-approved Regional Transportation Plan. We are working hard with our transit partners to implement the voters’ vision and are committed to quality, safety, open communication with our neighbors, and minimal inconvenience to the traveling public.

35th Avenue closed at Loop 101 in both directions nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday night (March 21) through Friday morning (March 25) for bridge widening. Southbound Loop 101 on-ramp at Glendale Avenue closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday (March 24). Detour: Use 99th Avenue south to Bethany Home Road.
