The Arizona Department of Transportation has completed construction of High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes on Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) between Interstate 10 and Gilbert Road. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while this work was underway. There are no current projects on Loop 202 (Santan Freeway).

The timeline
represents the required steps in the development of a roadway or roadway
improvement. In addition to establishing a funding source, there is
a series of required planning and environmental studies before a roadway
is constructed.

Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) was funded with the half-cent sales
tax under the voter-approved Proposition
