Crews will work 8-10 hour shifts Monday-Friday. Occasional night or weekend work is possible. Pima Walkway

Sound Wall No. 4 – Loop 101 and 7th Street, Phoenix

Westbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) 7th Street off-ramp closed from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Saturday (Feb. 18) for sound-wall construction activity. DETOUR: Use 7th Avenue.

UPCOMING:
Southbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) right lane closed south of Shea Blvd. to the Via Linda Bridge and speed limit reduced to 45 mph from 9 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 23) to 5 a.m. Friday (Feb. 24) for bridge-widening work in conjunction with the Maricopa Regional Supplemental Noise Wall project. Obey posted speed limits and drive with caution in this active work zone.

ATTENTION SCOTTSDALE PATH USERS:

  • The Camelback Walk remains CLOSED to pedestrians and other users Monday-Friday through spring 2012. However, crews will re-open Camelback Walk for use on the weekends.
  • A segment of the Pima Path remains CLOSED through spring 2012 because of construction. The Pima Path runs along the west side of Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) and connects to the Indian Bend Wash Path System via the Camelback Walk.

    DETOUR:
  • Use the Indian Bend Wash Path System between Mountain View Drive and the Arizona Canal (just south of Indian Bend Road).
  • For your own safety and that of the construction team, DO NOT access the closed portion of the Pima Path or Camelback Walk by going over, under or around barricades/fencing. This is an active work zone. ADOT appreciates your cooperation.
